RCM Certificate: Australia and New Zealand’s Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM) certification is controlled by Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), and is mandatory for all electrical products, other than certain “low-risk”, non-wireless, battery powered devices. This mark covers disciplines of safety, EMC, telecom, and wireless testing. The three previous marks (A-Tick, C-Tick, RCM mark) have now been consolidated and replaced with the one single RCM mark.

Uganda COC/PVOC Cert: Inspection of imports coming into Uganda is one of the UNBS mandates that emerged from the UNBS Act Cap 327 which became operational in 1989. Import Inspection duties entail enforcing the requirements of the Uganda standards in order to protect the health and safety of the public and the environment against dangerous and sub-standard products. In the subsequent years, a number of amendments and regulations with regard to Import inspection and clearance have been passed and issued by the government to ensure that imports meet requirements of the approved standards in Uganda.

SASO Water Efficienc: SASO enforced the Water Efficiency Label to be required to obtain the SASO Certificate of Conformity for the products that fall within the scope of the label, which means that no SASO Certificate of Conformity can be issued for products or equipment unless a SASO Water Efficiency Label is provided.
All Manufacturers, and importers, are obliged to label their products if they fall within the Water Efficiency Label scope in accordance with the SASO Water Efficiency Labeling program before shipping the products, so they can clear them at the Saudi customs ports and access the market.

KENYA PVOC/COC Certi: Kenya PVOC is Pre-export verification of conformity to standards. It is a conformity assessment procedure applied at the country of supply/origin to ensure compliance of imported products with applicable Kenya Standards, approved specifications or applicable regulations. Goods meeting the requirements of the relevant Kenya Standards or approved specifications will be issued with Certificates of Conformity (CoCs) as proof of compliance by KEBS appointed inspection agents.

SONCAP Certificate: The SONCAP is a product conformity scheme whose objective is to help ensure that products exported to Nigeria meet minimum safety requirements. This will help ensure that Nigerian consumers are not exposed to potentially unsafe and sub-standard goods.

ROHS Certificate: RoHS is a product level compliance based on the European Union's Directive 2002/95/EC, the Restriction of the Use of certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS). Products compliant with this directive do not exceed the allowable amounts of the following restricted materials: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), with some limited exemptions.

GOST-R Certificate: The GOST R system of certification implies two types of compliance documents: the GOST R Declaration of conformity and the GOST R Certificate of conformity (hereinafter — GOST R Declaration, GOST R Certificate).

GOST R Certificate and GOST R Declaration are the documents confirming that the product meets the requirements of the national (GOST), interstate and international standards (ISO, IEC, etc.), technical specifications.

These documents are required for import into Russia and sale in Russia of products within the scope of the GOST R system.

The list of goods covered by the GOST R system is established by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 982 dated December 1, 2009.

This list includes, for example:

medical devices,

lithium-ion batteries,

high-voltage equipment,

etc.

KUCAS(TER,TIR Certif: All consignments of imported goods that contain regulated products must be accompanied by a Technical Inspection Report (TIR) and a Technical Evaluation Report (TER). Intertek is the leading approved Certification/Inspection Body (CIB) which offers this service to exporters.

GS: GS certification depends on the time required to apply for GS certified products, generally speaking, it takes time to apply for a GS certification as a month or so, different products depending on the circumstances.
